About Me

I volunteer as a Town Councilor for District 1 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

I grew up here in Bridgewater, graduated in the top of my class at B-R, and went on to receive a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. While at UMass, I received a Lemelson-MIT grant for innovation, developed and sold my own web development software, and created my own faculty-sponsored ecommerce concentration by adding extra business and computer science classes to the standard economics curriculum. I later pursued and received my SCPM credential in project and program management from Stanford University’s executive development program.

After graduation, I followed my passion for innovation by moving to Manhattan as part of the founding team for an internet startup focused on connecting people. I remained there until the events of 9/11, when I came back to Massachusetts to continue my career as a program manager running complex technical projects for clients throughout New England. Over the following years, I worked for other innovative organizations and grew into larger management roles running global project management, digital engineering and data functions for companies such as Upromise.com and iRobot. I’m currently the vice president of data management and analytics for a publicly traded life sciences company in South Boston.

During that journey, I met an amazing social-minded woman and we married and returned to Bridgewater to start our family. Since then, our family has grown to include two incredible kids and a furry dog. My wife volunteers in town as a Girl Scout troop leader and as a diversity & inclusion liaison to the Friends of Williams PTO. My children participate in our incredible theater, music, lacrosse, Badgers football and BYSA soccer programs, where I’ve also volunteered as a coach. My parents still live in town and our family is proud to call Bridgewater home and to be part of such an involved and supportive community.

I’m not affiliated with any political party. I’m an independent who likes to research issues, talk to residents, consider impacts and review facts before making the best decision. I believe in transparency, accountability, goal-driven planning, fiscal responsibility, and bringing an equity lens to important decisions. I have no business interests in town, but I am very interested in helping our local businesses grow and succeed.
